“ SOLID ... I cant move past the Acapulco torta, it comes with fries. Thick with milanesa, ham, and chorizo, all freshly prepared, topped with fresh veggies in a perfect roll. Im sure everything else is awesome, not ready to move on yet though, the green sauce with the little flecks of black is the spiciest and has a great flavor. Solid every time I come here, good job ! ”
“ Just flew in from Jersey and this was the first meal we had. I read good reviews and had to come see for myself. We went with the tacos of the days and chose one of each. I couldnt have asked for more and the food was fresh and tastes delicious. This place is highly recommended. ”

“ In Hayward, just off of Mission Street in what is haywards equivalent of a little Zocalo, Latino couples, and Families walk around in the summer evening enjoying the nice weather, and also the delicious tacos from Metro Taquero. Small chain with three locations in the East Bay, this particular location had some rocksolid tacos, and good fresh sides. I ordered 2 Al pastor, 2 carnitas, and one Pollo Asado. They were all really good, I was happy to see that they were cooking most of the meat fresh on the grill, the staff was really cool. Even at some of the better Taco places I cant find a really Soul searing hot sauce, but this place did not disappoint, as they have house sauce called Salsa Diabla, which had a nice solid burn. If youre in Hayward I would highly recommend this place, as it was my first visit, and it was really good, and I intend to return. ”

Ive tried 5 other taco joints before this one. This is the best Ive had. This is my new weekly taco spot. I was very, very, very pleased. ”

“ Great food! The owners and employees are good people who really their best into the work that they do. You really get the bang for the buck when you eat here. Dont forget to try the shrimp tacos. The burritos, tacos, and Metro bowl are delicious as well. Gotta get that carne asada! Update 6172018 Just tried the Haystack Burrito for the first time here. Its amazing! Got better with each additional bite I took. Definitely worth the money. Great quality food! ”
